A Night of Comedy & Gospel Singing

Many of you may be feeling overwhelmed with life’s up & downs, crime on our streets, reports of terrorists attacks around the world, as well as experiencing anxiety with all the current political news relating to the upcoming Presidential Election.  If you fall into one of the above categories, it’s time for you and your family to take a break. The Ladies of Vision (LOV) Ministry invites you to their first Pre-Conference Event –  “A Night of Comedy & Gospel Singing”, hosted by Pastor Tommy London and the church family of First Baptist Church of Cloverdale. Deacon Alvin & Reverend Patricia Smith will be our Emcees for the evening. We encourage your entire family to come out to witness an evening of worship, laughter, and praise of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Statistics reveal that laughter is good for your health, and is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict.  Our featured Comedian for the evening will be
Mr. Antoine Scott from Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Scott has always enjoyed making people laugh and has performed with some of the best comedians in the business, as well as appearances on TV.  He also appeared in the movie “Evan Almighty”  The night will also feature inspirational gospel singing by the Morning Star Baptist Church Mass Choir, as well as inspirational solos by Pastor Tommy London of First Baptist Church Cloverdale, Deaconess Jean Galloway of Morning Star Baptist Church, and the Gospel Group “Grateful” from the Roanoke Valley The event will start at 6 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at First Baptist Church of Cloverdale, located at 193 Updike Lane, Roanoke, VA, 24019.   A free will offering will be given to help support LOV’s expenses associated with our upcoming 2017 Domestic Violence “The New Me ~ No More Scars” 5th Anniversary conference, which has been scheduled for April 1, 2017 at the Holiday Inn Tanglewood, and in memory of those who may have lost their lives from Domestic Violence.  Please come out to support the Ladies of Vision Ministry, experience needed laughter from Comedian Antoine Scott, as well as sing praises to the Lord along with the anointed gospel singers.  You will also hear a story from a survivor of Domestic Violence.  We are confident that you will receive a true blessing.  For additional information you may call
